About me
Ashlee is employed as an 8th grade English teacher at Booneville Middle School. Over her eighteen year career in education she has worn many hats. She has been a literacy coach, reading coach, elementary reading teacher, librarian, and gifted teacher. She was the head Booneville Middle School fastpitch softball coach for seven years and served as a part of the highschool coaching staff for both slowpitch and fastpitch softball prior to leaving coaching to focus on being a mom. She is currently taking a new role as a POM squad coach for the 2025-2025 year.
Ashlee has a Master’s Degree in Literacy from Blue Mountain College and finished her specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Mississippi College in 2024.
She opened Heartbeat Downtown in historic downtown Booneville in October of 2019. This is a small business committed to growing the creative arts and local opportunities for children in North Mississippi.
