About me
Gina is an experienced middle school educator with 8 years in the field of English for 7th and 8th grade, currently serving as 8th grade ELA teacher and Junior Beta Club Sponsor at Pontotoc Junior High School. In the classroom, she is passionate about incorporating technology, classic and modern literature, and along with a healthy dose of historical documents to empower students by broadening their horizons and making real life connections with people from around the world and throughout time. Gina also believes in the power of educator collaboration and is enthusiastic about sharing best practices to strengthen teaching communities. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, watching movies with said family, and baking.
